FEDERAL HEIGHTS REFRESH

A STUDY IN SIMPLICITY

When a tired and charming Federal Heights residence was ready for a freshening, the clients turned to Square Studio to bring back the beauty. New creamy white cabinetry brought a kitchen back to life and playful accessories in a custom designed hutch give the space a cozy feel. While stark high gloss white cabinetry in the master suite was replaced with calming matte shades of pale green. Overly ornamental door profiles and dated hardware were reborn as simple tailored silhouettes, with sparkling new hardware in polished nickel. The master bath had room for lounge seating, so full advantage was taken of the substantial footprint to add comfortable generously padded club chairs in a durable fabric for easy care and maintenance. The design team added plush area rugs, a recessed television and a beverage center to enhance this unfussy, functional and elegant space. A hallway guest bath was refreshed with new painted and glazed cabinetry and stunning new marble countertops. A Jacobean wallcovering brings softness and style to this gracious and welcoming room.
